ABOUT ME
Dr. Susie Cutler
Board-Certified Pediatrician · Founder · Westchester County, NY
MY BACKGROUND
I am a board-certified pediatrician with over 2 decades of experience caring for children and families across Westchester County and the lower Hudson Valley. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania and then went on to complete medical school and residency and was chief resident at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
As a general pediatrician, I’ve worked alongside thousands of families navigating everything from newborn care and common childhood illnesses to complex medical issues and the full range of developmental and behavioral concerns.
WHY I STARTED CUTLER PEDIATRIC MEDICINE
The 15-minute pediatric office visit is no longer designed for the moments that matter most — the parent who senses something is off with their child but can't quite name it, the caregiver lying awake wondering whether what they're experiencing is normal or a sign of something more, or the parent worrying that their child is not reaching developmental milestones as quickly as other children and doesn’t understand why.
Although I’ve been a pediatrician since 2005, becoming a mother myself changed everything about how I practice — and why I'm here. Having raised a child with anxiety, I know firsthand how isolating it can feel to sense that something is hard for your child and not know where to turn — or whether anyone will truly understand. My two children taught me things no medical training could. Being a parent also showed me, with uncomfortable clarity, just how enormous the gap is between the appointment and the rest of real life — and how rarely anyone helps parents bridge it.
After 21 years in practice, I stepped away from outpatient pediatrics to support parents in a new way, because that gap is too important to ignore.
There is no manual for this job. But there can be a trusted expert in your corner — someone who has seen it all from both sides of the exam room, and who will give you the time, the answers, and the clarity you need to raise your child with confidence.
I believe that every child has the potential to become the best version of themselves — and that potential is most fully realized when parents truly understand their child. That belief is at the heart of everything I do
That's what I'm here for.

"When I became a pediatrician, I thought I was in the business of caring for children. Twenty-one years later, I realized I was actually in the business of equipping parents."
Every day in my practice, I saw parents who were doing everything right — and still felt lost. Not because they didn't love their children. Not because they weren't trying. But because nobody had ever given them the actual tools they needed to navigate the most demanding, most important job of their lives.
